Altered States Clothing reflects the altered state of your body, wearing clothing that accentuates your attributes and hides any small imperfections. Created from eye catching fabrics and original designs, each garment is made carefully and inspired by woman.s unique shapes.
These innovative garments are made from a combination of materials and techniques. I love dying the fabrics,working with applique and the use of hand embroidery. I seek out fabrics, buttons, and closures from my travels in places such as France and England, allowing me to find potential in many different media. I "deconstruct" the materials I find and create tasteful clothes from a collage of fabrics.
Each piece is comfortable, versatile and designed to accentuate and compliment women's beautiful bodies. The backs of many of the jackets are asymmetrical, creating an appealing and slimmer silhouette. The shirts, dresses, and jackets are intended for many occasions and personalities, as they can be worn with formal dresses or casually with jeans.
Altered States offers a wide variety of styles and garments : techno glam, boudoir casual, and rock star chic. While most of my attention is focused on the detail of my clothing, my personal objectives are important for keeping me on the right track. My goals as a designer are:
To make every woman who wears my clothing feel comfortable and unique. Throughout my years in the retail business I have noticed a need for body driven clothing. I have acknowledged and responded to a real need for garments that are versatile for all occasions, unique in style, and flattering for all woman.We all want to look hot!
